Description:
This attached addition was completed in the winter of 2008 and alongside fine craftsmanship boasts many sustainable building features. Ultra-insulated walls (R-50 walls, R-70 ceiling) contribute to energy savings while special lighting design enables the addition to be entirely flooded with natural light. High thermal mass, achieved through the use of natural adobe, further contribute to energy savings. Particular attention was paid to interior to make it a chemical and toxin free environment.
